Alright FF's.

October 15 and 16 I'll be in MO for a wedding. All my other October weekends are open. If not 15/16 me and the WR will be there.
I'd like to ad that a mid week ride is great at Reiter, for the locals with flexible work schedules.

An experienced off roader could ride a KLR to these places with no trouble with the right tires (knobbies). The down side is the trails are very rough, off camber, rocky, with moderate rock ledges, logs, and potentially deep stream crossings. If you go down there is the real possibility of damaging a big heavy metal tanked bike. If you have little or no off road experience, this is not the best ride to cut your teeth on, or your jaw, or knee...
On the other hand, you bought it to ride and it is a dual sport bike. If you ever wanted to test its metal (and yours) this is the place to do it and I would never tell anyone you can't ride one of those out there. Hell, Toothy might show up on his Harley Sportster and further crush our idea of what a dual sport bike is.
