Black Dog Cycle Works rear rack on the 1190?

Anyone have one installed that can give me a report? I'm leaning toward the BDCW as I like that it eliminates the passenger grab handles which I hate.

I like the one I have on my 990, except for one thing- to attach my rotopax spindle, I have to loosen all four rack mounting bolts a little in order to make room for my hand to get the spindle mounting bolts up through the base. Wish there were some sort of quick disconnect/release mechanism for that; other than that no issues and satisfied. May not be an issue on the 1190, YMMV.

Appreciate the opinions guys. I also appreciated that Kurt from BDCW PM'd me to see if he could answer any questions.
I had already ordered one and it should be installed in a few days. I'll take some photos and let you know what I make of it. Cheers.

Rack

Great rack for me. Agree with Krumgrinder. However, I never need to remove my Rotopax base; it actually helps to retain my duffle bag. 990 Baja. Watch overloading these! Easy to do. See previous comments on broken frames etc.

I like it better than the original one but the holes still don't line up with my Kreiga softbag straps.

Bdcw

On my 950 I have installed the BDCW back rack, sidestand re-locator and crash bar bags. Good stuff. Quality. Good people to deal with. No issues.
