Just saw this thread. Going to see if I can get plans together to make it to this. Does ToC have many hotels? Alternatively what are camping options like there?

There is a pretty wide range of accommodations in T or C that run the full gamut in cost and comfort. Some typical rider favorites are some of the historical hot spring spas in the old downtown area (see this link: http://www.sierracountynewmexico.info/attractions/truth-or-consequences-hot-springs/) or some very reasonable accommodations up the hill toward I-25 (the Desert View Inn like DS riders!).

If you want to camp, there are several nice State Park campgrounds at Elephant Butte Lake.

Is there a camping contingent? Boondockers? I probably will bring my truck camper whether I stay in a motel or not.

Charlie Sheen going to be at the lake?

I better call Hans and snag a room - I'm coming down on two wheels or four.
Chris, I might take you up on the offer of the XR-L

If you need a machine I have a DR that survived the Rubber Chicken a couple years ago.

Charlie's going to be hanging at the Firewater this year.....
Something about the state not allowing him to be at the lake ever again

And here I thought NM was an "anything goes" state. Then again, maybe that was CO
