North by NorthWest 8/14?

I know, no one wants to ride with me but that's ok as I don't like that 2 up crap anyways.....
Thought I'd throw it out there again, giving you 5 months to think of your excuses and bury this thread.

Idaho singletrack hotspring fishing camping drinking see my new grandson and son and his wife and Boise riding friends extravaganza; August 2014

We're thinking Baumgartner this year, but that will be up to the fires (been denied the last 3 years).

http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=881077 no one stepped up last year, will this year be different?

...

Congratulations Grandpa!!!

So September ID is now August?!? Hmmm...

I have prior commitments in Oregon from August 5 - 12. Any time afterwards could work, but I need to pin the dates down to be able to plan the rest of my summer vacation. I was saving ID 'til last when I thought you'd be up there in September again.

I have some Baumgarter tracks and they look BITCHIN' on GE!

Mike, just throwing a time frame out there....mid to late August could work good.
August is actually kind of late in the season for Baum, but we haven't been there yet....hoping for rain storms without the fires this year.

How was Baja? Where's the taco pictures?

That time frame works for me! Yes, ID needs LESS fires this year.

10 days of Baja starts THIS Sunday! Tecate, Laguna Hanson, & the back way to Mike's!

Hey John, you thought anymore about dates in August? I'm trying to ride with other folks in Washington before
or after riding with you in ID. Trying to get some ID friends to ride with you too. Any clues to your dates would
be great.

Seriously?!? You're moving your trip out of my window!

I'm north from August 5 thru 31. Prior commitments thru Aug.10 in Oregon.

Have FUN in July!

So, anyone else wanna ride some Idaho, Washington, & Oregon singletrack in August (12-30)? My preferred sequence would be Idaho, the Entiat Mtns south of Lake Chelan, & Gifford Pinchot NF between Mt St.Helens & Adams. Then ride a few Oregon trails as I head south for California at the end of the month.

Well shucks, I guess we'll miss each other in Idaho AGAIN this year!

As for July ... I'm coaching most weekends, but I'm trying to get some friends together &
ride the killer singletrack at Downieville, July 17-21. July 20th is my 60th bday!
