No RPM restrictions this year. very cool. After buying a ninja 500 for the track yesterday, I'm super biased this season :) KRT!

An old friend is still racing, he picked up a 400 RR to run that spec series. Loves it.

Just 10 more days until the first race of the 2025 season where we get to see this guy at the top of his game.

What is it with newly crowned champions lately highsiding out of testing? :eek7

At least Toprak was able to continue riding later.

    Rough day.

Johnny Rea also highsided in the first session. Rea had several fractures in his left foot and is out for at least Round 1.

Japanese Superbike champion Yuki Okamoto is racing WSS for Ten Kata Yamaha this season. He suffered injuries from a crash that will keep him off the bike for Round 1 and maybe longer.

How are you guys watching this year?
Last year I got the video pass and then streamed from my phone to the tv but that's not really ideal.

That's really the only way I'm aware of doing it. I used the browser in my Smart TV though to go to the World SBK page. I took the time to type out the whole address to the no spoiler page and then save it as a bookmark so I don't have to 1. see any spoilers and 2. go rummaging around the website clicking all the links I need to finally get to the video page.

I stream off my Mac to the AppleTV, since my TV is old enough to not be all that smart. I thought I had the subscription turned off the automatic renewal, but forgot it had been originally paid for with PayPal ages ago. Turns out I also had to shut the auto pay off on PayPal. So, the new subscription went through.

    I've since nuked PayPal.

Streaming off my MacBook Air and before that an iPad works fine. I can even pause the live action with the AppleTV remote. That was nice. Even better is the sound to my hearing impaired ears through the Apple AirPods Pro 2.0. Best sound reproduction I've had from any hearing assist. My latest behind the ear hearing aids are very good, but not anywhere as good as these AirPods.

I'll probably do this with MotoGP to get the ambient sound.

I pay for subscription and have the no spoiler page of SBK website set to come up on my laptop. Then I'll click on the "cast" icon to show on my smart TV. BUT........for unknown reasons to me, the "cast" icon doesn't always show up so then I'll have to connect HDMI cable from laptop to tv or view it on the laptop screen. Anyone know why the cast icon doesn't always appear as an option?

I have the subscription, and I have a Mac Mini "Media PC" attached to my TV, so I log in via the browser and just go full screen. It's a good setup, I can do VPN to England and watch the BBC for other stuff.

So let me get this straight. Ducati gets their ass kicked, so they lobby to have the rules changed in the their favor. Which, at best, single-handedly removes any threat to their dominance? And at worst, highsides their competition out of contention?
