You'd love the "Rally Pro" of the Tiger 900 then.... less of a rally bike than (even) the T700. and as for being raped.... $25,000.

B&b rear plate with grab rails
Probably look sleeker with out the rails but will be helpful when moving the bike about or getting a push in a tricky situation

Something I really like about the B&B Bash-plate was the design of the back mount how they took a hanger up to a point that bolts through to the steel frame, and once the hanger is installed the first time you only have to remove a single bolt to undo the bashplate, not the complete 3 bolt hanger

something i was thinking about last year I could do if I got worried about the strength of mounting a plate to the rails bolted to alloy

I went to look at the Tiger 900 and wanted a test ride (buying an adventure bike so test riding everything), sorted out the test ride, asked about the price. When he told me I cancelled the test ride immediately. :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl(In the UK the new Honda AT is apparently 3000 EUR more than the Tiger, here its the other way around... go figure..... )

Any chance of catching the edge of your boot on that bolt head as you use the foot brake?

theres a video since that one of the revalving development and some rally raid fork components and I still reckon the slow mos that show the bikes going through woops side by side the white bike revalved and resprung forks look better, but it may something to do with the fact the white back has been resprung and revalved in the shock but the black bike has only had a spring in the shock

the first 10 min of this vid

Im pretty happy with mine now, spent the last 2 weeks since the respring and revalve most days chasing the final bit of trial and error on preload and damping settings in harder offroad and road riding finding the best of each, and best overall.

its pretty irrelevant to a stock bike as its revalved, but on both ends ive got a bit more compression damping then middle, and a bit less rebound then middle, all damping is still within middle third of all clickers which im
happy about as it still gives me room down the track if i feel it needs something

I reset sag yesterday after adding the rack and tool bag , last time i set it i recorded 13click of preload , now i recorded 20 clicks ,
I know the rear spring is light for most but at 70kg without gear i am lighter then most . I was very surprised.
will be adding racks at some stage so going to need heavier spring and might as well do revalve too .
Happy enough with local tuner ?
Always good to go local if they can do as good a job as the tuners mentioned a lot down south

Sounds like it on the spring ey.

Seems ok, always hard to tell unless you ride something else back to back, but seems to be working pretty good, mine is sprung on the lower end of the scale for a 96kg rider and valved a little less aggressively than some to keep it plush and comfortable for most of my riding so you may get away with a test ride to feel the difference
